Get to Know Doug Zimmerman

Doug began working with Sunbridge in 2017, shortly after moving west from New York City, where he had been working in wine and spirits for many years. What began as an unexpected part time gig eventually turned into a new career path in solar energy and a whole new set of skills that continue to grow.

The elder of the field crew, Doug has a reputation for horrible dad jokes, outdated pop culture references, and complaining about the weather. He is also known for working hard and having a damn good time doing it. His eclectic preoccupations include abstract painting, birdwatching, kung fu movies, target shooting, and searching out the best beers he can find.
