Q: How Does Solar Energy Work?

A: Solar energy works by the solar panel converting sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity. This electricity needs to be converted into alternating current (AC) to match with your utility power. This is done by an inverter converting the DC into AC electricity. A: Solar panels installed by Sunbridge Solar are guaranteed to last for at least 25 years though they are engineered to last over 40 years. All come with a 25-year manufacturer warranty and free replacements.

Q: How Much Will I Save By Installing Solar Panels?

A: The amount of energy you consume monthly and the size of your solar energy system will determine your actual savings. A typical return on investment is usually about 15-20%. With little to zero initial investment and electricity prices increasing every year systems start paying for themselves immediately.

Q: How Much Will A System Cost?

A: The cost of installing solar panels depend on a number of variables. They are:

  2. Your monthly energy usage.

  3. Your utility’s net metering policy.
